Miss Vicky's Offhand Remarks

People rock!

Miss Vicky was the beneficiary of a good samaritan act today.

It's been a rough week... Wee G, the Webgeek and AJ all came down with some kind of tummy bug, and AJ is still feverish, clingy and complainy. In need of fresh air and some coffee, Miss Vicky took AJ up the road to Bridgehead this morning, making a quick stop at the bank to take out funds for the weekend.

On the way home, it occurred to Miss Vicky that she had neglected to actually TAKE THE MONEY OUT OF THE BANK MACHINE. Argh! She's attributing her extreme absent-mindedness to sleep deprivation and a phenomenon she likes to call "lactesia". It was a quick run to the RBC in the hopes that some kind soul had decided to hand the money in.

Not only had some kind soul decided to bring the money into the bank, he had waited 1/2 hour to see if the forgetful customer returned.

Miss Vicky has some serious karma to repay. Thank you, kind person... not only for the money, but for restoring my faith in human kindness.
